2.4.5 – February 22, 2012

• Fixed bug where UWW would not be notified when wifi connects or disconnects on some devices. This caused the phone to not lock or unlock at the right times.
• Fixed bug where UWW would not start automatically on boot, on some devices.
• Fixed bug where uninstalling from the menu didn’t work if UWW was disabled.

• Fix for crash on startup that some users experienced.

• New log watcher feature that reminds you not to change your password in the normal Android settings. In device admin mode, or ICS, you must change your password in UWW. This is very important, and will help users avoid screwing something up. This is what the READ_LOGS permission is for.

• Improved Like and Tweet functions.

If you have problems with the app, don’t post bad ratings – email me first! A lot has changed in Android 4.0, and it was a lot of work to make the app compatible with it. Please be patient and help me iron out any wrinkles.

• Persian translation. Thanks to Nima H! Also, a fix for GPS not turning on for some users. Please remember that this feature is still experimental and not guaranteed to work. Note: 2.3.6 was skipped.

For some reason, some users suddenly started getting validation errors in Unlock With WiFi. I attempted a fix in 2.3.4, which didn’t work. Then I tried something else in 2.3.5, which does seem to have worked. Sorry to those who were affected.

A new version of the popular lock screen app, WidgetLocker, has been released. This version improves it’s response reliability to show/hide commands from other apps, like Unlock With WiFi. That means that the WidgetLocker integration feature in Unlock With WiFi will now be more reliable and better than ever!
